Our Story
Bauhaus Picture Framing began in 1985 after award-winning studio artist Frank Hensey discovered the need for affordable custom picture framing and his passion for it. After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin in 1982 with a BFA in Studio Art, he decided to start his own business. Since that time, he has operated a commercial art gallery in downtown Austin and a shop at his home located in Central Austin in the Cherrywood neighborhood. As I work out of my home my customers have a pleasant and laid-back fun experience. Along with my talent as a framer, my prices and turnaround time can't be beat!
